This is intended as a clinical multidisciplinary event bringing together physicians from a number of different specialities to examine the current state of the Sonopill technology development. Our intention is to examine and critique the currently proposed modes of diagnosis and therapy, broaden these modalities to other disciplines and invite further novel means of investigation and intervention.
This workshop will focus on exploring technology and its potential in solving issues encountered in day-to-day practice as identified by the clinicians themselves.
The workshop will be organised into small interdisciplinary groups, with each group chaired by a peer with medical student assistance, working together to address the themes of the Sonopill technology for diagnosis and treatment in order to meet clinical needs and create engineering actionable ideas. The resulting ideas will then be discussed at a follow-up engineering-based “clinical hackathon”.
